Franciscus Gasthuis & Vlietland wanted a new Learning Management System (LMS) because in the old system they could not develop content and it was not flexible.
Future Learning was asked to present the LMS ILIAS.
Franciscus Gasthuis & Vlietland has chosen ILIAS as a new LMS because ILIAS:
- Has a very good HTML page editor which can be used to develop content
- Is very user-friendly, the design automatically points itself out
- Has a good communication function with the forum and the question pool
- Offers a media library and glossary to be built-in
- Has good reporting features
Franciscus Gasthuis & Vlietland considers the many functionalities the most powerful of ILIAS. This does mean that an organization needs to know which ones are really needed. When Franciscus Gasthuis & Vlietland had the preconditions in order, ILIAS was able to fully adapt these.
Future Learning has set up the ILIAS environment for Franciscus Gasthuis & Vlietland and provided the corporate identity. With hands-on training for the administration of ILIAS and content development, Franciscus Gasthuis & Vlietland was able to continue the work on its own.
A well-equipped LMS in which there is a lot of development. All necessary management information can be gathered from the system. Franciscus Gasthuis & Vlietland is very satisfied with the possibilities that ILIAS offers, including the reporting functions.
Future Learning provides hosting and technical support for ILIAS as part of Managed Services. A functional support contract has been signed for practical questions and thinking about the further development of the LMS ILIAS.
