Interfood Group is an international market leader in the trade of dairy products. Important values in the family business are mutual trust, respect and dedication. Training and quality management are tools by which these values are supported. Interfood Group is a private company with 16 offices on all continents.
The question
Interfood Group wanted to improve the training and quality management. To achieve this, they wanted to use ILIAS to digitize their Interfood Academy and the quality management system. Through this knowledge, learning and information platform, they also wanted to immediately give their customers access and insight on the necessary information and processes.
Future Learning was approached to help them set up and shape this platform.
The solution
Future Learning has set up the ILIAS environment for them and provided them with a corporate identity. In addition, Future Learning provided some very demand-focused training courses in management, design and development of content in the ILIAS environment.
Interfood Group then continued to work themselves on the design of ILIAS as:
- Digital learning management system:
- Learning resources to prepare for learning objectives
- Translation of procedures into a digital learning environment
- Test environment
- Registration of who did what and when
- Digital quality management system:
- Upload documents and provide a digital signature
- Clear version management of the documents
- Linking this quality management system to the various training courses offered
Result
With ILIAS, Interfood Group now has a well-equipped digital knowledge, learning and information platform. With this platform they have all learning tools and quality documents directly available online for their employees and for the customer. Interfood can show the customer that the learning and quality process within Interfood is correctly organized and implemented. This increases the customer’s confidence in the company.
Future Learning provides hosting and technical support for the ILIAS environment through a Managed Services contract.
