Bender is committed to municipalities, health insurers and providers of care or care aids. As a knowledge supplier, the company helps its customers with issues within the social domain. For Bender, connecting with each other’s knowledge and skills is very important.
The question
The company was looking for a user-friendly learning environment to support the learning process of students and teachers. A system for simplifying internal work processes was also desirable. A Bender customer recommended ILIAS.
In Future Learning, Bender was looking for a party that could host the ILIAS learning environment and give consultancy in case of problems or new developments.
The solution
ILIAS offers the possibility to read SCORM-packages of author’s tools and that was a prerequisite. The purchase costs are low which was also desirable.
Future Learning was able to set up the learning environment, to provide it with the corporate identity of Bender and to take care of the hosting.
With highly hands-on administration and author training by Future Learning, Bender was able to immediately start designing ILIAS and simplifying internal work processes.
Result
Bender has a user-friendly ILIAS environment. Future Learning has provided management- and authors training courses. The system of internal processes has been simplified.
Future Learning provides the hosting and technical support for ILIAS as part of Managed Services. For practical questions and thinking along about the further development of the ILIAS learning platform of Bender, is provided with a functional support contract.
