|Joke van Cappelle
Joke started Future Learning bv in 2011. She is trainer, course developer and e-learning developer. She is a “blended learning” proponent, where e-learning and face-to-face education are combined to optimizes the learning experience of the student. Joke is a strong enthusiast for ILIAS because of her positive experiences with the system as well as the many unique possibilities that the system offers, like blended learning.
Peter is Joke’s business partner. He is the spider in the web who knows (most) everything about ILIAS. He will perform demonstrations, if possible custom-made for the potential customer. Peter is responsible for the implementation once a customer decides to go ahead with ILIAS. Together with the customer he will develop a blueprint for the configuration of ILIAS, after which he installs and configures the system. He will also train and support administrators and other users. When you call the Future Learning helpdesk, chances are that you will get Peter on the line.
Jannet is Instructional System Designer. When Future Learning is asked to develop custom e-learning modules, Jannet will serve as the designer of the content. How does Jannet go about her business? First of all, she listens to the customer. What exactly do they want, what appeals to them, who is the target audience, which content needs to be in the module? Jannet translates this is an outline and storyboard where she combines test, media, animations and interaction into an attractive packages. In such a way that for example the explanation of material code is still fun, even after the 16th code.
|Marion van Egmond
E-learning and media designer and artist Marion knows, like no other, how the visual aspect affects the student. What is the best way to visually present e-learning, what works and what doesn’t? Marion translates the house style of the customer to the ILIAS environment, she determines how the student goes through the screens and how the system responses are shown. She develops animations, images, video, uses audio and the ways these different media types interact. She is very experienced in her field. Before she started her own company, she worked for 9 years as e-learning and media designer.
The technical developer of e-learning modules for Future Learning is Hester. She sets the technical preconditions for the introduction of the content and makes sure that the content can be entered seamlessly in the standard or custom-made ILIAS system. This includes all methods for interaction, media files and quiz material. She works for Future Learning as author trainer. As consultant she assists customers with using e-learning modules in their environment.
Jacqueline works as a project leader and instructional designer. As project leader she supervises projects for our customers to ensure that demands and deadlines are met. As instructional designer she designs educational storyboards and test questions for e-learning modules. She always starts, in cooperation with the customer, to define a solid description of the learning goals and characteristics of the learners. These are essential for her to design e-learning completely aimed at the question. Jacqueline is very much in favor of blended learning in order to, by using different types of learning interventions, ensure the best possible learning transfer.
|Marcel de Leeuwe
For customers who want to design and develop training programs in ILIAS, Marcel is the guy. As educational expert specialized in e-learning with more than 20 years of experience, he teaches didactical training classes. The objective of his training is to be able to come up with a suited design of the training. A program that fits nicely with planned learning objectives and desired training time, course load, type of training (classical or individual). I short, Marcel will assist the customer with the didactical concept. The content is not relevant at this point, that comes later. Of course it will always be a concept that can be realized in ILIAS.
